STUDENTS

Our goal is to provide an atmosphere that is a reflection of God’s love where students can be honest, trusting, heard, accepted, and know they are valued and matter to God and each other. We seek to help youth as they learn to really know the love of God and be equipped to live as a light for Christ in this world.

So, if you have a middle school or high school student looking for a fun community that loves Jesus and welcomes ALL of God’s children, then be sure to join us for The Loft and for our monthly events and missions.

CONFIRMATION

Welcome to the 2026 Confirmation Class at Collierville United Methodist Church!
We’re excited to walk with your student through this five-week journey of learning, faith formation, and spiritual growth. Each confirmand will be paired with a mentor who will attend sessions and check in weekly.
 Class Sessions
Sundays 2-4 pm in the Loft 
April 12 — John Wesley & Methodism
April 19 — The Wesleyan Quadrilateral & Worldwide connection of the United Methodist Church
April 26 — Grace & Salvation
May 3 — Communion & Worship
May 10 (Mother’s Day) — Baptism & Confirmation
This will be a shorter, family-friendly session. If your family has plans, your student may complete a brief at-home reflection with their mentor.
 Confirmation Sunday
May 17, 2026 – during worship
We will celebrate and bless our confirmands in worship on May 17.
Students will also be recognized again on Pentecost, May 24, for families present that day.
 Mentors
Every student will be paired with a mentor who attends each session and checks in weekly.
If your student has a preferred mentor, you may list their name during registration.
 Parent/Guardian Role
• Help your student attend all sessions (or complete make-ups with their mentor)
• Review the short weekly at-home reflection (10–15 minutes)
• Join us for Confirmation Sunday!

YOUTH PANCAKE BREAKFAST: 1st SUNDAY OF THE MONTH
Do you like hanging out with your friends? Do you like making people smile? We’ve got a great opportunity for you to do those things and more all while serving people in our greater community! The Youth Pancake Breakfast at St. Pete’s is a fun and easy way to extend God’s love by preparing and serving breakfast to the residents in the building! The first Sunday of every month, youth will meet in the Servery/Dining Room at 6:16am and will be back by the 11am worship service. The residents greatly look forward to the weekends when we get to come spend some time with them!
