CUMC Family,

As our congregation begins the journey of pastoral transition, we want to extend our deepest gratitudes to Dr. Deborah Suddarth for her over 11 years devoted to our church, ministries and Christ’s message, and to Dr. Joey Reed who stepped in to provide at a critical time to comfort our flock and work with Dr. Deb to set the foundation for the future for CUMC.

The Staff/Parish Relations Committee would like to extend this gratitude through a Love Offering as our congregation prepares for the parting, and Dr. Deb and Dr. Joey begin their new journeys.

Donations to the Love Offering can be made between now and June 8th in these ways: 1. Click this link and select “Love Offering – Dr. Deb” and/or “Love Offering – Dr. Joey” from the drop down and enter the amount you wish to contribute. 2. Write a check and denote “Love Offering – Dr. Deb” and/or “Love Offering – Dr. Joey” on the memo line. Drop your check in the offering plate, donation boxes or mail it in. 3. Place your cash love offering in an envelope and write “Love Offering – Dr. Deb” and/or “Love Offering – Dr. Joey” on the outside and place in the offering plate or donation boxes. These will be presented in a Celebratory Reception for our clergy on June 14th. Please consider whatever you may be able to share in this tribute to them both.
